
He is also an Advisor to the CEO of Congo Airways, company in which he previously served as Deputy CEO and Accountable Manager from its inception in March 2015 to May 2017. Congo Airways, the flag carrier of the Democratic Republic of the Congo started commercial services in October 2015 and now operates a modern fleet of several Airbus A320 and Bombardier Q400.
Jerome began his career within the Aircraft Finance Division of the French Bank – Societe Générale – before creating his own aviation consultancy firm in 2001.
For more than 15 years, he has been advising numerous Shareholders, Investors, Financing Companies and Airline Senior Executives, mostly across the Middle-East and Africa (Banque Libano-Française (Lebanon), Al-Aqeelah Leasing, Finance & Investment (Kuwait), Air Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), etc…).
In addition, Jerome is a member of the Founding Team of Volotea, a successful European low-cost carrier launched in 2012, which now operates a fleet of 30 aircraft.
A passionate entrepreneur, his areas of expertise notably include start-up establishment, funds raising, Merger & Acquisitions, strategic planning and Company turnaround.
Jerome has an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC; France) and a Master in Business Administration from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU; FL, USA).
